Comfort takes shape.

Between performance materials and timeless design, Maison Forma selects sofas made for real homes, shipped in a box that fits through any door.

The sofa is the heart of the living room, the piece a home is built around. It deserves the same care in choosing as everything else. We select sofas, sofa beds and armchairs that combine seating comfort, performance materials and lasting design.

Why compressed?

Narrow stairways, small elevators, doors that have to come off their hinges: in many homes, the real obstacle is getting the sofa in, not choosing it. Compressed in compact packaging, our sofas go up stairs, along hallways and into elevators like a regular package. Once unpacked, a sofa gradually regains its volume and reaches its final shape after 24 to 48 hours. Compression changes the way it ships, not the way it sits.

What we look for

• The foam: a density that keeps the seat supportive for years.
• The fabric: corduroy, performance fabric or suede effect, depending on the model.
• The dimensions: sizes for real living rooms, from a 31 in (80 cm) lounge chair to a 94 in (240 cm) sofa.
• The design: lines meant to last rather than follow a season.

Three families

• SORA – the corduroy sofa bed, with fully removable covers.
• BULÉA – rounded silhouettes made of soft upholstered sections, from armchair to 3-seater.
• LUMA – the low lounge sofa.
