Which Maison Forma sofa suits a modern interior?

With its clean lines and sleeping function, the SORA range suits contemporary living spaces that serve several purposes. The BULÉA collection, with its rounded silhouette made of soft upholstered sections and generous volume, makes a strong statement. The LUMA collection leans towards a lounge feel, with a low seat and a relaxed look.

How do I choose the right color for my sofa?

Shades such as Linen, Slate or Charcoal suit most interiors. Bolder colors such as Forest, Midnight, Coral or Eucalyptus give the room character. On large models, a strong color anchors the room visually; on compact models, a neutral shade keeps the room from feeling heavy.

Which model suits a small room?

Thanks to its dual role as a sofa and a bed, the SORA suits small apartments. The LUMA 2-seater (51 × 28 in / 130 × 72 cm) and the LUMA Mini lounge chair (31 × 28 in / 80 × 72 cm) stay compact. The BULÉA Mini is 47 in (120 cm) wide and 45 in (114 cm) deep; the BULÉA 2-seater sofa (75 × 45 × 31 in / 190 × 114 × 80 cm) also needs enough depth. Please measure before ordering.

Materials and care

What materials does Maison Forma use?

The SORA is upholstered in hard-wearing microfiber corduroy, with removable, washable covers. The BULÉA is covered in a performance fabric tested to 36,000 Martindale cycles. The LUMA is covered in a durable suede-effect fabric.

Are the covers removable?

On the SORA, all covers come off and can be machine washed at 86 °F (30 °C). BULÉA and LUMA are made in one piece; their covers are not removable and are cleaned directly on the furniture.

How do I care for a sofa without a removable cover?

For everyday care, simply vacuum the sofa with a soft brush attachment. Blot stains quickly with a slightly damp cloth, do not rub, and do not use abrasive cleaning products.

Shipping and set-up

Do the sofas arrive ready assembled?

Our sofas and armchairs ship compressed in a compact box that fits up stairways, into elevators and through standard doors. BULÉA and LUMA need no assembly. The SORA goes together in about fifteen minutes, without tools. The foam reaches its final shape 24 to 48 hours after unpacking.

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

Shipping to the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia is free, with no minimum order. Delivery takes 8 to 12 business days. Once your order has shipped, you receive a tracking number by email. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other US territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses or PO boxes.

Will I pay customs duties?

No. Import duties are included in our prices: there is nothing to pay on delivery. Sales tax may apply depending on your state; it is shown at checkout before you pay.

Can the sofa go back into its box?

No. Compression is done at the factory with dedicated machines. Please check the model's dimensions and the route into your home before opening the packaging. This does not affect your free 30-day returns.

Returns

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. You can cancel free of charge before your order ships, and you can return any item within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is free, and we pick up unpacked sofas and armchairs from your home. See our returns and refunds policy. To arrange a return, email us at contact@maisonforma.us.

What if a product arrives damaged or defective?

Please contact us with your order number and a few photos. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, at no cost to you.
